Jaime Wascalus has a strong background in information technology and project management. They started their career at SRA International as a Project Manager, where they managed a significant budget supporting IT services for the U.S. They then moved on to Factor_UE, where they served as a Project Manager and oversaw multiple web and application projects for notable clients such as Target Corporation, Trane, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. At Perficient, Jaime worked as a Project Manager and was responsible for enhancing and maintaining servers and applications for banking systems. They joined the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2009 and held various roles, including Chief Information Officer for the School of Dentistry and IT Director. Most recently, they have been serving as the Chief Information Officer for Academic Support Resources at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Additionally, Jaime is currently the Director and Chief Information Officer of the Office of Technology and Communications at the City of Saint Paul.
Jaime Wascalus has a Master of Science degree in Technology Management from the University of Minnesota. They also hold a Project Management Certificate from The George Washington University. Additionally, Jaime has studied Mathematics and German at the University of Minnesota and German Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
