Alexander C. Landsburg has extensive experience in naval architecture and marine engineering, with significant roles including Technical and Research Program Coordinator at the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers since 2009, and Planning Committee Member for TRB Workshops on Human Factors since 1990. Landsburg served as Chairman of the TRB Committee on Marine Safety and Human Factors from 2008 to 2016, and was a Senior Member of the Advisory Staff at CSC Advanced Marine Center from 2006 to 2015, focusing on ship design and human systems integration. Previously, Landsburg held various positions at the U.S. Maritime Administration from 1966 to 2006, leading research and development in naval architecture. Educational credentials include a Professional Management Development degree from Harvard Business School and master's and bachelor's degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan.
