Mark Klapow is a partner at Crowell & Moring LLP since March 2011, serving as co-chair of the Litigation Group. Klapow is currently co-chair of the Trade Secret Committee at the American Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law section and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Trade Secret Working Group at The Sedona Conference. Previously, Klapow held the position of Trade Secret Law Committee Chair at AIPLA from 2018 to 2020 and served as vice chair from 2016 to 2018. Prior to Crowell & Moring, Klapow was a partner in the Litigation Group at Howrey LLP from 2000 to 2011, where responsibilities included being the DC Hiring Partner and leading a Trade Secrets Initiative. Klapow began a legal career as a clerk for Judge Christine Miller at the Court of Federal Claims from 1999 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a JD in Law and Economics from Syracuse University College of Law and a BA in History and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
