Rene Duquesnoy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 1999, they worked as a Developer/QA/Analyst Consultant at ThoughtWorks for six years. From 2005 to 2010, they held the role of Principal Software Engineer at PEAK6. Following that, they worked at ComedySportz Chicago as a Performer and Partner from 2007 to 2018.

In 2010, Rene joined DRW, where they took on various roles, including Project Manager/SysAdmin from 2010 to 2014, Software Developer from 2014 to 2020, and most recently, Technology Software Systems Team Lead starting in 2021.

In 2014, Rene also began serving in the Air National Guard as a Command Post Controller, a role they held until 2020. In 2020, they also joined the US Air Force Reserve as a Command Post Controller.

Additionally, Rene has experience as an Instructor at The Second City starting in 2017 and as a Mentor at Code Platoon since 2017.

Rene Duquesnoy completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, where they were enrolled from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Rene obtained certifications in "Learning HashiCorp Vault" from LinkedIn in February 2021 and "Top Secret/SSBI" from the United States Air Force at an undisclosed time.
