Lauren Ratcliffe

Science Policy Intern (stem Education) at The Royal Society

Lauren Ratcliffe is a dedicated professional with a background in science policy and journalism. Currently serving as a Science Policy Intern focusing on STEM education at The Royal Society since March 2016, Lauren also writes feature articles as a Freelance Journalist for International Innovation magazine. Prior experience includes various roles such as Editorial Intern at ClientEarth, Science Policy Intern in Biodiversity at Imperial College London, and Science Editor for the university's student publication, FELIX. Lauren has also worked as an English Tutor and contributed to ecological research initiatives, including a UROP placement with a PhD student on climate change and conservation research as a Volunteer Research Assistant for Operation Wallacea. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Imperial College London with a year spent studying in Madrid at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.
