Frances Rowan is a skilled professional with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Research and Policy Manager for Higher Education Liaison at the Scottish Qualifications Authority since February 2021. Previous roles include Employer Engagement Manager, Employability Manager, Stakeholder Manager, and Employability Adviser at the University of the West of Scotland, where Frances played a pivotal role in developing employability initiatives and enhancing partnerships. Additional experience includes positions at the University of Strathclyde, University of Glasgow, and involvement in a cross-institutional project with several universities. Frances holds an MA(Hons) in Theatre Studies and English Literature from the University of Glasgow and has further qualifications in caring for children and young people and musical theatre.
