Christian Koolloos has worked in a variety of roles in the Agri, Bio-based, Food, and Feed industries. Christian began their career in 2000 as a Sales Engineer at Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company. In 2005, they moved to TNO as a Business Development Manager. In 2007, they joined C5 Yeast Company as a Commercial Manager, where they managed the company commercially. In 2012, they started at DSM as a Strategic Marketing Manager and Business Manager, where they were globally responsible for DSM's fuel ethanol business. In 2018, they became a Partner at CCWood. In 2017, they joined RAM Operations as a Director, providing business management and project development services to companies developing new technologies and concepts. Finally, in 2020 they joined The Protein Brewery as the Chief Business Development Officer, where they were responsible for business management of new food ingredient technologies and developing and managing partnerships and commercialization tracks.

Christian Koolloos studied Biology at Utrecht University from 1995 to 2000, graduating with an M.Sc. degree. In 2014, they attended IMD and completed a BOT course.
