Seamus McHugh is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Investment Officer 1 at the NYS Teachers' Retirement System since December 2019. Prior to this role, Seamus interned at Capitol Hill Management Services, Inc. in June 2018, where assistance was provided to the Controller and Staff Accountants in reviewing financial statements and optimizing internal operations for not-for-profit organizations. In the summer of 2017, Seamus interned with Albany County Government, focusing on bank reconciliations, auditing appropriations, and researching municipal financing opportunities. Seamus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance from SUNY Oneonta, attained in 2019.
