Tammy Pineda - Ocampo is a dedicated professional in the field of library and education services, currently serving as Youth Services Manager and previously as Youth Services Librarian at Madison Public Library since 2015. Prior experience includes roles as a Bilingual 4K Teacher and 4K/5K Bilingual Resource Teacher at Madison Metropolitan School District from 2012 to 2015, and earlier positions as a Bilingual Group Leader and Early Childhood Program Coordinator. Tammy also contributed as a Bilingual Spanish Outreach Liaison for Hennepin County Library and served as a Social Worker for the Latinx community at Hennepin County Office of Multicultural Services. An accomplished educator, Tammy holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Communications and English Literature from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
