Heather Sands is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in paralegal and legal operations roles. Currently serving as a Senior Paralegal at The Nature Conservancy since October 2023, Heather previously held the position of Contracts Paralegal at Wounded Warrior Project from March 2014 to September 2023, where responsibilities included contract management, compliance with nonprofit regulations, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Earlier experience at the United States Attorneys' Offices from December 2009 to March 2014 involved case management and support for the Criminal Division. Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida in 2012.
