Mike Richard is the Owner and Founding Editor of Vagabondish.com, where responsibilities include writing, editing, sales, advertising, web design/development, and social media since October 2006. Additionally, Mike has served as a Freelance Writer for Hearst Magazines and TheManual.com since 2022 and 2015, respectively, contributing insights on travel and outdoor gear. From 2015 to 2018, Mike worked as a Hotel Photographer and Writer for Oyster.com, documenting hotels across the Caribbean and Central America. Prior experience includes serving as Creative Director at Artifex Technology Consulting, where management of web design teams occurred from 2004 to 2010, and a freelance web and graphic designer from 2001 to 2004, with notable clients including HBO and Miramax Studios.
