Natalie Labella

Senior Vice President, Communications at American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA)

Natalie LaBella has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2005 as a Winery Sales Associate at Lazy Creek Vineyards, they gained experience in customer service and sales. In 2006, they worked as a Public Affairs Intern at both the U.S. Department of Commerce and Hill & Knowlton, where they focused on drafting press releases, developing outreach strategies, and creating publicity materials.

Natalie then joined ICF International in 2008 as a Research Assistant, supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR program. Natalie later served as an Analyst and Associate-Sr. Associate, providing recruiting and account management expertise for the U.S. Department of Energy's Better Buildings Alliance and Better Buildings Challenge.

In 2013, they became a Consultant at the National Restaurant Association, where they planned and implemented membership engagement and marketing efforts for the Conserve program.

Since 2015, Natalie has been working at the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA). Natalie started as a Marketing Manager, then became the Director of Communications and Marketing. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President, Communications and Marketing. In this position, they oversee integrated marketing communications, media relations, program management, and advocacy efforts for the association.

Natalie LaBella brings expertise in marketing, brand integrity, and sustainability to their various roles. Natalie has a proven track record of driving successful communications and marketing campaigns in the associations and non-profit sectors.

Natalie LaBella obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Natalie then pursued a Certificate in Marketing from the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, specializing in Marketing, from 2010 to 2012.
