Edison Yu has extensive work experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. Edison served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at The Gambrinus Company, where they oversaw marketing, sales, production, procurement, and logistics. During their tenure, they successfully led Shiner Beers to significant growth in operating profits. Prior to that, Edison worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they held various leadership roles including Global Vice President, Chief Innovation Officer, Group Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Marketing, General Manager of Craft Brands, Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, and Head of Strategy & Planning. At Anheuser-Busch, Edison played a crucial role in driving market share, revenue, and profits for multiple brands, achieving impressive growth and turning around the Value Brands business. Edison also led the successful integration of Goose Island, doubling its EBITDA in the first year and setting the foundation for sustainable growth. Earlier in their career, Edison worked at Microsoft as a Group Manager in Marketing, Product Management, and Business Strategy, contributing to the launch of Windows 2000 and the significant growth of Windows Mobile's market share.
Edison Yu holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance from The Wharton School. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including the Advanced Innovation Program from Harvard Business School, the Advanced Marketing Program from Kellogg School of Management, the Advanced Strategy Program from Harvard Business School, and a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from the ASQ Human Development and Leadership Division.
