Sarah Smith has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 1992 as Assistant Director at the Center for British Studies at St. Cloud State University. Sarah then moved to Japan in 1995 to work as an English Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET). In 1999, they became Program Assistant for International Education at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. In 2002, Sarah was appointed Multicultural Student Recruiter and Adviser at Dakota County Technical College. In 2007, they joined Huron University London as Associate Director of Recruitment. From 2009 to 2010, they were European School Liaison Officer at Regent's College. In 2010, Sarah became Assistant Director of Admissions at the Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art in France. From 2011 to 2013, they were Co-Founder of Haypenny Marketing, helping small to medium sized businesses improve their marketing results. Finally, in 2013, Sarah became Co-Founder of The Dyrt, a company that redefines how people search for campgrounds.
Sarah Smith obtained their BS in Speech Communications and Rhetoric from St. Cloud State University from 1987 to 1992. Sarah also completed a Study Abroad program in China with Sinosummer in 1992. In 1990, Sarah completed a Study Abroad program in England at the Center for British Studies. From 1998 to 2001, they obtained their MA in International and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training. In 2013, Sarah obtained their Salesforce.com Certified Administrator certification from Salesforce.com.
