Amanda E. Rogers, PhD, currently serves in the role of Threat Intelligence & Investigations at Unit 221B since November 2022 and is a Research Fellow at The Century Foundation, focusing on transnational trends in citizenship through the Militias Working Group since February 2021. Previous academic appointments include Visiting Assistant Professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and National Endowment for the Humanities Visiting Assistant Professor at Colgate University, emphasizing Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. Amanda's early career featured positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia State University, Faculty Lecturer at Georgia Institute of Technology, and multiple fellowships, including Andrew Mellon Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Art History and Middle Eastern Studies from Emory University, alongside international study and research experiences in Morocco.
