Abida Shariff has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Abida started their career as a Penetration Tester at Bugcrowd and HackerOne in 2019, where they conducted security research. In 2021, they worked as a Security Engineer and Infosec Intern at PiChain, where they gained experience in various security roles. Abida also volunteered at Crime Free Bharat during this time. In the same year, they joined TryHackMe as a CTF Player, sharpening their skills in cybersecurity challenges. In 2021, Abida became a member of the Synack Red Team, contributing to the team's efforts in identifying vulnerabilities. Abida joined ThreatHawk in 2021, serving as a Penetration Tester and Division Lead for WAPT. Currently, they work as a Security Engineer at Red Sentry, starting in 2022. Abida's expertise in penetration testing and security analysis makes their a valuable asset in the cybersecurity field.

Abida Shariff completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Application with a specialization in Cybersecurity and Cloud Technology from Jain (Deemed-to-be University) between 2018 and 2021. Prior to that, they attended Mount Carmel College in Bengaluru from 2016 to 2018, where they pursued a course in Science without a specific degree. Additionally, Abida has obtained several certifications, including Junior Penetration Tester (eJPT) from eLearnSecurity in May 2021, Prepare for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) Exam (SAA-C01) from LinkedIn in January 2021, Incident Response and Advanced Forensics, Introduction to Splunk, and Monitoring Network Traffic with SIEM from Cybrary in August 2020, Certified Network Security Specialist (CNSS) from the International CyberSecurity Institute, UK in June 2020, Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate and Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate from Fortinet in June 2020, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH v10) from EC-Council in June 2019.
