Colin Johnson is a Senior Program Specialist in Emergency Preparedness at The Center for Health Affairs, with a focus on collaboration within the Northeast Ohio Healthcare Coalition and managing grant deliverables for the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response. Prior experience includes serving as a Security Forces member in the US Air Force Reserve, where law enforcement duties and emergency management training were key responsibilities. An extensive background in emergency management was further developed through roles at Amazon as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist and at Vectrus as an Emergency Management Specialist responsible for operations and liaisons with city and state agencies during emergencies. Earlier positions, including a Public Safety Assistant with the City of Massillon, involved administrative support and the development of the city's Emergency Action plan. Colin Johnson holds a B.S. in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from The University of Akron and an Associate's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
