Emma Weinstein Sheffield is an experienced welfare and immigration programme officer currently working with the British Council since April 2022. With a background in humanitarian and refugee support, Emma has held various roles, including consultant and shelter research assistant at CARE International UK, where involvement included research on self-recovery in crises. Emma has also served as a mentor with Routes, programme officer at RefuAid, and detainee support officer at Asylum Welcome, focusing on legal and welfare assistance for detained individuals.
