Mark Dunn has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Mark currently serves as the Executive Vice President of the American Kennel Club (AKC), where they are responsible for leading the organization's core customer and core revenue operations. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Registration & Customer Development at AKC.
Before joining AKC, Mark Dunn worked as the Managing Director at AKC Reunite and as the Director of Engineering & Quality at Eastman Kodak. At Qualex, Inc., a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak, they served as the Director of Engineering and Quality, where they led the company's efforts to align capabilities with customer requirements. Mark also held the roles of Manager of Operations Engineering and Senior Plant Production Manager at Qualex, managing various aspects of plant production operations.
Earlier in their career, Mark Dunn worked as the Operations Manager at Lerner Processing Labs, where they oversaw the day-to-day operations of the laboratory and collaborated with the Regional Sales Manager to drive results.
Throughout their career, Mark Dunn has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Mark has successfully launched new programs and initiatives, such as the AKC Canine Partners Program and AKC's My Dog Can Do That attraction, and has led efforts to drive cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
Mark Dunn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Business Administration from Trinity University from 1982 to 1986. Mark then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Integrated Business at Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 2001 to 2002. Finally, they completed a Six Sigma Black Belt certification in Engineering at the University of Michigan from 2007 to 2008.
