Chris Wood currently works in Corporate Strategy at Compass Group, a position held since August 2023. From June 2009, Chris has been the Deputy Press Operations Manager at Wimbledon - The All England Lawn Tennis Club, managing a team to support the International Press during the tournament. Prior experience includes serving as Strategy Lead in the JLP Strategy Team at John Lewis Partnership from December 2019 to August 2023, focusing on Waitrose's strategy. Chris also held various roles at Waitrose & Partners, including Strategy Manager from May 2018 to December 2019. Before that, Chris worked at PwC UK as a Senior Associate and Associate in Consulting, and at Sainsbury's as part of the 2020 Leaders Commercial Graduate scheme. Initial experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at the British Council. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in French from the University of Bristol and was educated at St Paul's School.
