Alexandra Maus has extensive work experience in the education sector. Alexandra began their career in 2006 as a Special Education Teacher/Corps Member at Teach For America, where they worked until 2008. Alexandra then joined Success Academy Charter Schools, first as a Student Achievement Coordinator from 2008 to 2010, and later as a Student Achievement Manager from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, Maus joined Explore Charter School as a Support Services Coordinator, where they remained until 2013. Alexandra then transitioned to Achievement Network (ANet), starting as a Manager of District Reporting and Support from 2013 to 2015. Alexandra was promoted to Director of Analysis and Reporting from 2015 to 2017, and then to Managing Director of Analysis and Reporting from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they held the role of Managing Director of Data Governance and Special Projects, and currently serves as the Managing Director of Measurement and Learning at ANet.

Alexandra Maus completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fine Arts and French from Amherst College from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching from Pace University between 2006 and 2008. In addition to their degrees, they hold a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
