Sandie Dawe CBE is a seasoned professional in the fields of tourism, culture, and heritage, currently serving as a Trustee for Thames Festival Trust and CULTURE PERTH AND KINROSS LIMITED since October 2023 and September 2017, respectively. Dawe has held the position of Commissioner at Historic England from January 2020 and will continue until September 2024. A strategic advisor at Four Communications from 2015 to 2023, Dawe also directed operations at London & Partners between 2014 and 2020. As Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Kids in Museums from 2014 to 2017, Dawe contributed to promoting family engagement in cultural institutions. Additional experience includes trusteeships at the Heritage Lottery Fund and consultancy for Chemonics International on tourism development in Jordan. Dawe previously led VisitBritain as Chief Executive from 2009 to 2014, enhancing Britain's global tourism presence. Educational qualifications include an MA Hons in German from The University of Edinburgh and an AMP in Business Strategy from INSEAD.
