Jose Costa is a quantitative researcher at Teza Technologies, with a tenure beginning in June 2014. Prior experience includes serving as an algorithmic trading researcher at DRW Trading Group from October 2008 to March 2014 and as a post-doctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology, specifically in the Center for the Mathematics of Information from September 2005 to August 2008. Additionally, Jose Costa worked as a statistical consultant at All Protect, LLC in 2007, focusing on machine learning algorithms for health care product design. Teaching experience includes a lecturer position at the University of Michigan for a brief period in 2005, and research was conducted as an assistant at Instituto de Telecomunicações from September 1998 to June 2000. Jose Costa earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Statistics from the University of Michigan and a Licenciatura in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
