Tony Vargas, PMP, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at TexasBank since August 2024. Previously, Tony held the position of Senior Vice President - Project Portfolio Director at First Financial Bank Texas, overseeing the delivery of the EPMO’s portfolio of projects from January 2020 to September 2024. As Vice President - PMO Manager at the same institution, Tony led a team managing significant business initiatives and digital banking services. Prior experience includes running TonyTorero.com Consulting, LLC, as Principal, and serving as Enterprise Program Manager at Waddell & Reed, Senior Project Manager at UMB Bank, and Vice President of IT & eBanking at First Olathe Bancshares. Early career roles included Technical Project Manager at Atos Origin and positions in quality engineering at Alcatel and Telefonica in Madrid, Spain. Tony holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed studies at the SW Graduate School of Banking.
