Prasad Narayan has had an extensive and diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Prasad has held various finance and administration roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in finance, treasury, tax, and business process improvement.

In their most recent role as Vice President Finance & Administration at Texas Fueling Services, Inc., Prasad was responsible for leading finance, treasury, tax functions, and overseeing HR, payroll, and IT. Prasad spearheaded several projects aimed at improving business processes, enhancing internal controls, and increasing profitability. Additionally, they led an initiative to optimize tax incentives, resulting in savings of over $200K.

Prior to that, Prasad worked as a Finance Manager at BJ Services, where they played a key role in the integration of finance systems and the establishment of treasury and banking relationships. Prasad also designed and implemented finance modules of Microsoft Dynamics 365, resulting in a cost-effective solution for the organization.

Before their time at BJ Services, Prasad served as the Chief Financial Officer of Allied Energy Services, LLC, a private equity-backed pressure pumping company. Prasad was responsible for managing finance, treasury, and tax functions, collaborating closely with the executive team and Baker-Hughes to complete the BJ Services transaction efficiently.

Earlier in their career, Prasad held roles at Schlumberger, where they served as a Business Process Manager, Finance Manager, Integration Project Manager, Financial Systems Manager, and Controller. Prasad was involved in various finance-related projects, including the integration of acquired businesses, implementation of SAP S/4 HANA platform, reorganization of finance teams, and the evaluation of capital expenditure projects.

Prasad also gained valuable experience during their early career at EY, Wipro, and Deloitte India, where they worked as an accountant and accounts officer.

Prasad Narayan's education history includes a range of qualifications in the field of accounting and management. Prasad completed their Secondary School Certificate at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School from 1972 to 1978, where they studied Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai between 1980 and 1983, specializing in Accountancy and Financial Management. In the same period, they also pursued a degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, earning the title of FCA and gaining knowledge in Accounting, Financial Management, Audit, and Taxation. Prasad furthered their education at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1984-1985, acquiring an ACMA qualification with a focus on Management Accounting, Management Information Systems, and Financial Management. In 2012, they briefly attended CIMA and obtained a CGMA degree in Management Accounting.
