Preston Hipps is a legal professional with extensive experience in capital markets and securities transactions. As Senior Counsel at Tetragon Financial Group Limited since May 2020, Preston provides expert legal advice in financial matters. Previously, as a Capital Markets Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP from October 2018 to April 2020, Preston advised issuers and underwriters on diverse securities offerings, including high-yield bond offerings and IPOs. Preston has also completed summer associate clerkships at prominent law firms such as Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Sidley Austin LLP, Scott Douglass & McConnico LLP, and Motley Rice. Additionally, Preston served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Mexico and contributed to LSAT preparation as a Teaching Assistant at Advantage Testing Foundation. Education includes a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in English from The Citadel.
