Ross Brandes has worked for several companies in various roles since 2007. Ross began their career at Calvin College as a Mac Desktop Management Assistant in 2007. In 2010, they worked as a Web Development Intern for Flannel and as an Internet and Server Systems Administrator for Calvin Theological Seminary. In 2011, they returned to Flannel as a Web Manager. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Envoy Platform as a Senior Web Developer and a Front End Developer. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Consultant at Test Double since 2017.

Ross Brandes obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Calvin University between 2005 and 2010.
