Mark Stevenson has a distinguished career in fire service, currently serving as District Chief at Bourg Fire Department since March 2002, where responsibilities include managing fire suppression activities and directing emergency scene operations. Concurrently, Mark holds the position of Training Officer at the City of Houma Fire Department, focusing on the recruitment, training, and evaluation of fire personnel. Mark also imparted knowledge as a Marine Firefighting Instructor at Fletcher Technical Community College from 2005 to 2013 and began a career in emergency medical services as an EMT-Basic with Acadian Ambulance from 2005 to 2008. Mark's educational background includes attendance at Louisiana State University from 2002 to 2022, complemented by foundational education at South Terrebonne High School.
