Madelyn Petrovich has a diverse work experience history. Madelyn started working at Academia Ingles Para Todos in 2014 as an English teacher for grades 1-11. In this role, they employed Montessori methodology and organized community outreach events. Madelyn provided translation and interpretation support when needed. In 2019, Madelyn joined the University of North Carolina at Asheville as a Study Abroad Advisor. Their responsibilities included advising prospective study abroad students, marketing faculty-led programs, and working closely with faculty to finalize program budgets. Currently, they are employed at Terra Dotta, LLC as a Study Abroad Client Support Specialist. Starting in February 2021, they provided support in this role and then transitioned to the position of Product Specialist, Travel & Agreements in May 2022.

Madelyn Petrovich pursued their higher education by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language with Teacher Licensure from Appalachian State University. Madelyn attended this institution from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they furthered their academic journey at the University of North Carolina Asheville from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master's in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a focus on International/Global Studies.
