Laurens Vehmeijer has a diverse work experience. Laurens worked at Studyportals as a Senior Consultant and Head of Product Development in the Analytics and Consulting Team, where they utilized data and developed strategies. Laurens also held the position of Analytics Consultant at Studyportals, focusing on analytics and consulting services. Prior to that, Laurens worked as a Junior Consultant at Studyportals, providing a wide range of consulting services to higher education institutions. In addition, they worked as a Fundraiser at 4DMPeople, where they raised financial support for a Dutch charity. Laurens gained experience as a Market Researcher at Nextview, specializing in Customer Relationship Management solutions. Laurens also worked as a Consultant at De Kleine Consultant, providing strategy consulting services to small and medium-sized enterprises. Laurens worked as a Scientific Researcher at MicroDish BV, conducting research in microbial culturing. Furthermore, Laurens co-founded SBMInitiative, a study society, and held roles as a Scientific Researcher and Student Assistant at Utrecht University, focusing on cell biology and signal transduction. Laurens also gained research experience in virology during their graduate research internship at Utrecht University.

Laurens Vehmeijer's education history is as follows:

Laurens attended Utrecht University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology. In 2008, they continued their education at Utrecht University and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences, which they completed in 2013. During that time, in 2008, Laurens also studied German at Freie Universität Berlin for a short period.

In 2010, Laurens pursued the Fundamentals of Business and Entrepreneurship at Utrecht University, and in 2011, they participated in the Honours Class Factory of the Future, a collaborative program between Utrecht University and Saxion Hogescholen.

Finally, from 2008 to 2014, Laurens pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Science and Business Management at Utrecht University, completing their studies in that field.

In addition to their formal education, Laurens Vehmeijer has obtained several certifications. Laurens became a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate in October 2021 and acquired Good Clinical Practices certification from GCP Central in January 2016. Laurens also obtained an Emergency Response Officer certification from BHVNederland in October 2022. Furthermore, they completed a Consultative Selling 1: Control to Discover Customer Needs training course at the SALESCYCLEGROUP in April 2022.

Lastly, Laurens holds a driver's license for automobiles (Category B) issued by CBR.
