Juan Camilo Zamora Ortiz has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Juan Camilo is currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at Icapital within the Terminal company since 2022. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Full-stack Engineer (Ruby) at Very, a fully-distributed IoT engineering firm. At Very, they were involved in building systems for smart manufacturing, smart energy & utilities, consumer electronics, and connected wellness.

Before joining Very, Juan Camilo had various roles at kommit. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Mapright Full-Stack Developer and before that, as a PlayUsMedia DevOps + FrontEnd Developer for a brief period. Juan Camilo also served as a Teach leader at Podnation.co and later as a Lead and Mentor within the same company.

Prior to that, they worked as a Full-stack Developer and Architect at Bikedigger, leading the development of a Rails app from scratch and coordinating a team of two developers. Additionally, Juan Camilo served as a Full-stack Developer at Proxio for over five years, building the product from the ground up and delivering impressive sub-products like proxioshowcase.

Juan Camilo Zamora Ortiz completed their education history in the field of computer science. Juan Camilo began their studies in 2006 at ParqueSoft Pereira, where they obtained a degree as a Technician in Programming and Free Software in 2008. Later, from 2011 to 2016, they attended the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, earning a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering and Computer Science.
