Weston Skeans has extensive work experience in technical architecture and engineering roles. Weston is currently the Director of Engineering at HealthEdge since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at SMG - Service Management Group, where they held various positions including Director of Technical Architecture, Principal Technical Architect, and Technical Architect. At SMG, they were responsible for envisioning, designing, and proving out creative software solutions, as well as ensuring quality programming standards and mentoring the team. Before SMG, Weston worked as a Senior Consultant at Accenture and held positions as a Solution Development Architect and Solution Development Engineer at Lexmark. Weston also has experience in the healthcare industry, having worked at Epic as an Accountable Care Lead, Technical Services Manager, and Technical Services Engineer. Their responsibilities at Epic included developing strategy, overseeing population health development, and consulting with customers. Weston's early career included roles as CIT HelpDesk Manager and Web Developer at Cornell University, as well as positions as a Clinical Informatics Developer at Siemens and a Polymer Science Intern at OMNOVA Solutions Inc.

Weston Skeans received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical from Cornell University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Weston then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University from 2009 to 2010.
