Christopher Chandler serves as Senior Counsel at the Tennessee Valley Authority since November 2009, providing legal advice to various internal stakeholders and managing significant regulatory enforcement actions. Previous roles include Vice President of Nuclear Oversight, where Christopher developed a plan to revamp departmental structure, and Associate General Counsel for TVA Nuclear, advising on regulatory and compliance issues while enhancing succession planning. Prior to TVA, Christopher held positions as an attorney and law clerk at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other organizations, along with military service as Reactor Electrical Division Officer on USS Ronald Reagan and Antisubmarine Warfare Officer on USS Mitscher. Academic credentials include a BA in History from Villanova University, a JD from American University Washington College of Law, and a Master in Environmental Management from Old Dominion University.
