Stephen Emert is a seasoned Information Technology professional with extensive experience at Tennessee Technological University since July 2003, where Stephen has held multiple roles including Senior Information Technology Specialist, Systems Analyst, and Academic Computing Specialist. Prior to this, Stephen worked as an Engineering Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the Instrumentation and Controls division from 1999 to 2000. Stephen's career in technology began with a decade-long tenure at Walmart as a Support Manager. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Information Technology with a focus on Computer Science from Tennessee Technological University, earned between 2012 and 2016, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pellissippi State Community College, completed between 1990 and 1998.
