Donnie Morrison is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in educational and organizational technology management. Currently serving as a Senior Evaluator for the School of IT at Western Governors University since January 2019, Donnie evaluates student assessments to ensure competency in courses. Previously, Donnie held key leadership roles within the Sierra Sands Unified School District, including Chief Technology Officer, overseeing district-wide technology services, and Director of Technology, managing a team responsible for the district's extensive IT infrastructure. Prior experience includes serving as VP of Field Services at Coastal Computers, providing IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, and earlier roles in the US Army and as a Computer Operator at Boeing Information Systems. Donnie holds a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Management and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University, along with an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems from Cerro Coso Community College.
