Hele Jonsson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2001, Hele started as a Human Resources Assistant at Tele2. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Lawyer at Notary Public office Sepp, Mesikäpp, Saar-Johanson, Savisaar, Puri. Hele then moved on to work as a Lawyer at Hansabank (Swedbank) from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2015, Hele worked as an Attorney at Law Firm GLIMSTEDT. Hele then served as a Legal Counsel at Business Sweden from 2015 to 2018, where they later became the Regional Operations Manager for Central and Eastern Europe. In 2013, Hele joined ITechLaw (International Technology Law Association) as a Member of the Board of Directors and also served as the Co-Chair of the E-Commerce Law Committee. Hele held various positions within ITechLaw, including Vice-Chair of the IWIN (Women in Technology) Committee and ITechLaw's Local Representative for the Baltic Region. From 2018 to 2022, Hele worked at Telia, starting as the Group Chief Privacy Officer and later becoming the VP Group Legal Security, Group Legal Privacy Director, and Acting Group Data Protection Officer. In 2021, they joined IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) as a Member of the European Advisory Board. Hele's work experience primarily focuses on privacy, security, and legal matters within technology and telecommunications industries.
Hele Jonsson completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Stockholm School of Economics in the SSE MBA Executive Format from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts in Law from the University of Tartu from 2008 to 2010. Hele also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, specializing in Law, from the University of Tartu from 2004 to 2008. Their education journey began with a Diploma in Law from the Tallinn School of Economics, Estonia, which they completed from 2000 to 2003.
