Lonnie Hobbs has over 40 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Lonnie began their career in 1969 as an OSP Lineman/Service/PBX Installation for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Inc. Lonnie then moved to ITT Communications Equipment Service Division in 1973 as a Service/Installation Engineer, and then to Telecommunications Services Inc. in 1975 in the same role. In 1978, they joined ROLM Corporation as a Manager Project Engineering and Manager Operations Service/Project. In 1983, they became the VP Operations at Telcorp Inc., and then in 1990 they were VP Engineering at Digital Technologies Inc. Lonnie then moved to VMX/Octel in 1993 as a Manager Application Engineering. In 1999, they joined Digital Research Inc. as a Manager Engineering, and most recently they have been with Telcom Innovations Group since 2010 as a Manager - Operations, providing operations management and assistance for Voice/Data/Computer/Convergence solutions.

Lonnie Hobbs attended Washington University in St. Louis, Forest Park College, and OFallon Technical. No degree or field of study was specified.
