Ryder Meggitt's work experience includes various leadership and design roles in different companies. Ryder is currently the Head of Design & Brand at J&G Coughtrie since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Teknek as the Head of UX and later as the Director of Innovation (Interim) from 2020 to 2022. Ryder also served as the Head of Product Design at Trtl - Travel Retail Supplier from 2018 to 2020. Before these roles, Ryder worked as a Product, Brand & Venture Consultant for various clients from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, they gained entrepreneurial leadership experience as a Saltire Fellow at Babson College in 2012. Earlier in their career, Ryder was involved in co-founding Onzo Ltd. and Lightweight Medical Ltd., where they led product design and development. Ryder also had teaching and engineering roles at University of Strathclyde and Locus Research Ltd. respectively. Ryder began their career as a Resort Representative & Ski Escort at TUI UK: Crystal Ski Holidays.

Ryder Meggitt completed the Saltire Fellowship program in Global Entrepreneurship at Babson College from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2002, Ryder pursued a joint honours degree in Product Design Engineering from The University of Glasgow and Glasgow School of Art. In 1996, Ryder completed the All Arms Commando Course at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines, Lympstone, and also attended the Short Service Limited Commissioning Course at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Ryder's earlier education includes attending Kings College School, Wimbledon from 1989 to 1996.
