Ronald Lopes

Ronald Lopes has extensive work experience in various industries. Ronald started their career at Gerdau S.A. in 1999, where they served as a Unit Coordinator and managed a team of 46 employees. Ronald'sresponsibilities included cost management, production oversight, process stabilization, and coordination of problem-solving groups.

In 2009, Ronald joined SunCoke Energy as a Production Coordinator. Ronald supervised a team of nearly 50 employees and was responsible for coal coke production, steam and gas treatment, maintenance planning, and ensuring operational safety and sustainability.

Ronald then moved on to Tecnored Desenvolvimento Tecnológico S.A. (OFICIAL) in 2012. As the Technological Development Coordinator, they contributed to the development of innovative technologies and registered over 100 patents in 27 countries. Ronald'smain focus was on promoting sustainable solutions for the steel industry.

In 2017, Ronald briefly worked as a Blast Furnace Coordinator at Ternium before returning to Tecnored as the Head of R&D and Engineering. In this role, they led a wide research and development team, managed capital projects, and played a key role in the establishment of Tecnored's first commercial plant.

Currently, Ronald holds the position of Chief Operation Officer at Tecnored, where they continue to contribute their expertise and leadership to the company's operations.

Ronald Lopes completed a Pós-graduação Lato Sensu degree in Metaverso: Negócios, Tecnologias e Estratégias at PUC Minas from 2022 to 2023. Ronald also obtained an MBA in Industrial Production Management from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, Ronald earned an Associate Degree in Industrial Production from FATEC, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Ronald began their educational journey by completing a Technical Course in Metallurgy at Senai São Paulo between 2001 and 2003, and also a Technical Course in Mechanics at ETEC - Escola Técnica Estadual de São Paulo from 1994 to 1999.
