Jake Whelchel is an engineering technician who has worked for various companies over the past four years. Jake began their career as an intern with The Haskell Company, where they designed test equipment and systems. Jake then moved on to Novelis, where they worked as a rolling process co-op. In this role, they created engineering and manufacturing drawing packages for machine shops and technicians. Jake also used AutoDesk Inventor to collaborate within a team environment and with outside parties.
Jake Whelchel then took a position with Integrated Technologies International, where they worked as a controls/assembly/machining technician. In this role, they were responsible for assembling and installing components and equipment in new or existing systems. Jake also created presentations to report project updates and results, and collated data into reports for intra-company distribution. Jake Whelchel then moved on to their current position as an engineering technician with Technology Compass Group, LLC.
Jake Whelchel has a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Kennesaw State University. Jake also has a minor in Engineering Design Graphics from Kennesaw State University.
