Roger Lo has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer/Research Assistant at Sintic AI, where they implemented the back-end of a software pairing with a precision training simulation product for firearms in Qt using C++. In 2016, they worked as a Second Lieutenant at 成功婁代替役訓練班, where they trained new recruits for the substitute military service, commanded a unit with up to 180 recruits, and established a new report system for night patrols in Microsoft Excel with macros. In 2017, they worked as a Junior Back-end Developer at Sintic AI, where they read API documentation and implemented the chatbot to connect with API from Google, Facebook, and LINE in Python. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Taiwan Lead STEM Instructor at First Code Academy, where they taught programming languages to students age 4 to 16, helped establish partnerships with other facilities, and oversaw the local teaching team's teaching quality in the classroom. Since 2021, they have been working as a Full-stack Developer at Iron Forge Development, where they build web clients and services with React and NodeJS servers from scratch, and builds cross-platform mobile apps with Flutter from scratch. Additionally, Roger Lo has worked as a Freelancer since 2019, providing numerous services including English and coding teaching, translation, copywriting, and voiceover work online.
Roger Lo received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Central University between 2011 and 2016. Roger has also obtained several certifications since then, including Node.js, Express & MongoDB Dev to Deployment from Udemy in January 2020, Improving Your Focus from LinkedIn in April 2019, Digital Sales Certification from Google in June 2019, Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in August 2019, Google Ads Search Certification from Google in July 2019, and Google Ad Fundamentals from Google in June 2019. Additionally, they have obtained two Duolingo German Fluency certifications in October and November 2015.
