Garrett Fry is an experienced professional in the visual effects and animation industry, currently serving as the Global Head of Creative and Production Training at Technicolor Group since July 2023. With a strong background in training and development, Garrett founded VFX Horde in 2018, providing simulated training experiences for aspiring VFX artists. Previous roles include Global Head of Creative Training and Development at MPC, where Garrett managed training initiatives across various global studios, and Environments Trainer/Program Creator at Framestore, where Garrett developed a comprehensive training program for Environment Artists. Garrett's extensive experience also includes significant contributions at renowned companies such as Rooster Teeth, LDS Motion Picture Studio, and Weta Digital, coupled with a Bachelor of Arts in Animation from Brigham Young University.
