Shani Pleasants has a diverse background in graphic design and creative management. Shani most recently worked as an Art Director at Team Epiphany, where they developed creative strategic directions, executed high-level designs, and led a team of graphic designers. Notable clients included HBO, Nike, Lego, YouTube, Target, Amazon, and Adidas. Prior to that, they served as an Art Director at VaynerMedia, where they designed and art directed for personal branding clients, created optimized content, and mentored junior designers. Shani also worked as a Creative Brand Manager at Verizon, where they reviewed and evaluated creative work, managed brand projects with top agencies, developed brand KPIs, and conducted brand identity trainings. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Omnicom Health Group, where they executed print and digital projects for pharmaceutical clients, and as a Graphic Design Intern at The CDM Group, where they gained hands-on experience working on client projects. Shani also had a brief internship as a Graphic & Website Design Intern at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Shani Pleasants was recognized as Rookie of the Year 2015 and Omnicom Emerging Star 2016.
Shani Pleasants completed a course titled "Building Brands with Purpose" at NYU School of Professional Studies. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from Rutgers University. Shani also obtained their High School Diploma from Teaneck High School.
