Christiaan van der Valk is an accomplished leader in the fields of tax technology and digital economy, currently serving as General Manager Indirect TaxTech and Vice President Regulatory at Sovos since July 2018. In addition to this role, Christiaan holds the position of Chair in the Digitalization Dialogue at the Centro Interamericano de Administraciones Tributarias since August 2023 and serves as Vice Chair at GENA as of November 2023. Previous experience includes significant contributions as Chair of the Public Policy Working Group at eespa and Chair of the Public/Private Sector Working Group on Continuous Transaction Controls at the International Chamber of Commerce. Christiaan's extensive leadership roles also feature strategic positions at TrustWeaver AB, EDIFICE, and SIDN, along with educational qualifications from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
