Mickey T. possesses extensive experience in ecology, currently serving as an Adviseur Ecologie at Tauw Nederland since January 2020, focusing on research related to protected ground-dwelling mammals, bats, birds, amphibians, and reptiles. Prior roles include Field Ecologist at Adviesbureau E.C.O. Logisch, where research concentrated on the habitats and nesting sites of bats, house sparrows, and swiftlets, and participation in a project with De Natuur en Milieufederaties to establish criteria for ecological reports in collaboration with Timon de Wolf. Mickey T. has also interned as a Policy Officer at DDFK-gemeenten, contributing to a policy plan for nature-inclusive construction, and has experience in communication regarding wildlife crime with the Friese Milieufederatie. A background in animal management was obtained through a Bachelor degree from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, complemented by earlier education at Lyceum Sancta Maria.
