Lisa Hayward currently serves as the Ringa Tohu - Community Library Lead at Hamilton City Council since October 2023. Prior to this role, Lisa held multiple positions at Tauranga City Council, including Assistant Community Library Leader and Digital Programme Specialist from January 2021. Lisa also managed the library at Hillcrest High School from January 2019 to January 2021, and worked as a Librarian at Hamilton City Council from February 2016 to January 2019. Early career experience includes serving as a Student Library Assistant at Chartwell Library from September 2011 to September 2014. Lisa’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Biology, a Diploma in Education, and a Certificate in Cataloguing, all from institutions such as the University of Waikato and Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
