Mariel (Alicia) Gonzalez, PHR, serves as a Human Resources Business Partner at Tatte, overseeing HR processes and payroll for over 1,500 employees across multiple states. With experience as a Human Resources Generalist, Mariel managed HR responsibilities for a large district and processed PFMLA and FMLA requests. Previously, Mariel worked as HR Talent and People Manager at Boston Urban Hospitality, providing education to management on policy implementation, and as a Lead Bartender at Tapeo Tapas Bar and Restaurant, where inventory management was a key responsibility. A former Mental Health Counselor Intern at Bay Cove Human Services, Mariel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Latin American/Iberian Studies from UMass Boston.
