Neil Cooke currently serves as a Board Member for TASSCC since August 2023 and has held the position of Statewide Chief Data Officer at the Texas Department of Information Resources since October 2020. Prior to this, Neil served in various leadership roles at Texas Health and Human Services, including Director of Performance Management and Director of the Project Management Office from May 2016 to October 2020. Neil also directed the Enterprise Project Management Office at the Texas Department of Public Safety for a brief period in 2015, and held the position of Director of Strategic Planning & Efficiency at the Texas Department of State Health Services from April 2014 to October 2015. Earlier experience includes roles as a Management Analyst and Project Manager at the Texas Department of Agriculture from 2007 to 2014.
