Kristi Cawthorn serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Business Council of Alberta since January 2022 and is the CEO of Startec Compression & Process and Startec Service, a position held since August 2002. Kristi has been a member of TEC Canada since 2010 and previously held a board position at Strad Inc from December 2018 to April 2020. Prior managerial experience includes roles at Compton Petroleum from February 1998 to March 2002 and at Grant Thornton from May 1993 to February 1998. Academically, Kristi holds an ICD.D designation from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, completed the Quantum Shift program at Ivey Business School in 2016, and obtained a CA in Accounting from CICA between 1993 and 1995. Kristi earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Calgary, completing those studies from 1988 to 1993.
