George Samuel Woode is a seasoned Chemical Engineer currently employed at TAQA since March 2018, and also serves as a Community Organizer with Woodeman Consult since August 2016, focusing on education and community events. Previous experience includes a role as a Deepwater Cementing Fluids Specialist at Schlumberger from June 2011 to June 2016, where expertise in cementing deepwater oil wells along the West African coast was developed, along with quality assurance skills. George also worked as an Operations Officer at New Covenant Manufacturing Enterprise from October 2008 to May 2011, managing detergent sales and marketing. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Securities Trading coursework at the Ghana Stock Exchange, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
